Sunday about the city

I saw Angela Lansbury interviewed this morning, and Carrie Fisher interviewed this evening, but my favorite line of the day came from SarahB, as she cast one wary eye at the queue that wrapped around the block for the Georgia O'Keefe exhibit at the Whitney: "I have never wanted to stand in line to see art." Which I immediately filed under "Contrary Aphorisms by SarahB," because SarahB will stand in line to see well nigh anything. The syntax of the sentence makes me laugh still, but the sympathy behind it is the reason that we're friends.
